ILAB Congresses and Book Fairs are held every two years in another country. They are cultural and social events that lead the booksellers to the capitals of the world, where they are shown the treasures of book printing and arts, and where they have the possibility of networking in a relaxed atmosphere with a worldwide background.
Paris 2014 - 41st ILAB Congress and International Antiquarian Book Fair
After Bologna in 2010 and Switzerland in 2012 booksellers and bibiophiles will meet in Paris in April 2014 to celebrate 100 years of SLAM at the 41st ILAB Congress and International Antiquarian Book Fair.
ILAB at Work
The presidents of the 22 national associations affiliated to the League meet once a year at the General Meeting, each year in a different country. The General Meeting (or Presidents' Meeting) is the supreme governing body of the League. The ILAB Committee meets at least twice a year. Its task is to manage the affairs of the League and to put into practice the decisions taken at the General Meeting.
Siena 2013 - Presidents' Meeting
From September 29 to October 2, 2011, the Presidents of the 22 member associations of ILAB met in Weimar (Germany) for their annual meeting, at that time organized by the German Antiquarian Booksellers' Association (VDA). In 2013 the Presidents will be invited to Siena (Italy) for their annual meeting.
