The Silver Squirrel Prize for the Hungarian Rare Bookseller Ádám Bősze

Ádám Bősze, President of the Hungarian Antiquarian Booksellers Association (MAE), was awarded the Silver Squirrel Prize bestowed by the National Association of Hungarian Journalists for his outstanding professional achievements and for promoting and bringing about the membership of the MAE in the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers.

On one of the national holidays of Hungary, on 15th March, Ádám Bősze, antiquarian bookseller, musicologist and President of the Hungarian Antiquarian Booksellers Association (MAE) was awarded the Silver Squirrel Prize bestowed by the National Association of Hungarian Journalists for his outstanding professional achievements and international acknowledgment.

This prestigeous award went to Adam Bősze for promoting and bringing about the membership of the Hungarian Booksellers’ Assocation in LILA/ILAB, the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers.

The Hungarian Association was officially welcomed to the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers on the occasion of the 39th ILAB Congress in Bologna in September 2010. The members of the MAE adhere to the high standards of the international trade specified in the ILAB Code of Ethics.
