Personal Statement

At the moment I am working at Ketterer Kunst, an auction house for rare books in Hamburg. Until January 2017, my tasks are to register and catalogue new acquisitions and to prepare books for shipment. I am also responsible for client contracts and customer service. I have a particular interest in book binding and the production of books, and I specialise in artist books - to be precise, the Fluxus movement. In general I am most interested in books that are “precious”, rare or published in limited editions. I would like to work for an antiquarian bookseller's following a modern strategy with a certain open mind, without being too traditional.
